Since the start of his career with North American Morpho System Inc. in 1987, Scott has testified as a fingerprint expert to Inked Fingerprints, Latent Print Comparisons, Evidence Processing Techniques, Crime Scene Processing and Preservation, Forensic Photography, Photo Enhancements, Chart Enlargements, ACE-V Methodology, DNA, AFIS, Chain of Custody, Property Management, SWGFAST and Industry Standards, Documentation, Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
In 1991 Scott began work in the Identification Section of the Seattle Police Department, Ten Print Unit, where he was a supervisor. He was later employed by the King County Sheriff's Office in their Ten Print Unit and then promoted to the Latent Print Unit.
While living in the Town of Steilacoom, Washington with his wife and 3 children, he enjoys traveling, working on homes, and spending time with friends and family.
